Song of Songs 8:4

Let Love Awaken

A Love Many Waters Cannot Quench · Song of Songs 8

Story guide: The woman again addresses Jerusalem's daughters about awakening love before it desires. Notice the resting animals beside her, recalling the earlier appeals that named gazelles and does. The artwork links the refrains visually; this verse itself emphasizes the question of love's timing without repeating the animal names.
