Graphic Bible · Scene 2 of 5

Exodus 7:8-13. Staffs before the throne. Wide view of the staff sign in the established audience hall, low camera prioritizing the serpent on the floor. Aaron in indigo stands at left with BOTH HANDS EMPTY because his staff has transformed. Moses beside him in crimson holds his own gnarled staff, a separate object. A natural brown serpent on the stone floor has swallowed the magicians serpents; capture the final small tail disappearing into its open mouth, no blood or gore. Two ordinary court magicians in plain white linen with shaved heads and no royal crowns look down in alarm, their hands empty too. Pharaoh in his own blue/gold nemes watches rigidly from the established throne at right, reluctant to yield. Match the first three references to the three principals; the hall reference fixes architecture only, do not copy its previous hand gestures. Single coherent scene, no magical beams, humanoid serpent, dragon, bush, text or lettering. Bronze Age Exodus setting, not first-century staging. One 16:9 single scene. No text or lettering.

8Then the LORD said to Moses and to Aaron, saying,

9When Pharaoh speaks to you, saying, ‘Produce a sign for yourselves,’ then you shall say to Aaron, ‘Take your staff and throw it down before Pharaoh; let it become a serpent.’

10So Moses and Aaron went in to Pharaoh, and they did so, just as Yahweh had commanded. Then Aaron threw down his staff before Pharaoh and before his servants, and it became a serpent.

11Then Pharaoh also called for the wise men and the sorcerers, and they too, the magicians of Egypt, did the same by their enchantments.

12And each man threw down his staff, and they became serpents; but Aaron’s staff swallowed up their staffs.

13But Pharaoh's heart was hardened, and he did not listen to them, just as Yahweh had spoken.
